Fu Guotao said, "Our company mainly produces Marine engine fuel injection system, which is a key component to ensure the efficient and safe operation of ships, and the control of machining accuracy is extremely strict."

Growing up in a factory, Fu Guotao has had a strong interest in machinery since childhood. In 1986, Fu Guotao entered a technical school, determined to become a skilled worker. After 3 years of study, he joined Chongqing Hongjiang, starting from a lathe worker, engaged in mechanical processing work in the workshop production line.

After entering the factory for half a year, Fu Guotao passed the assessment and turned into a boring worker. Although never touched the boring machine during the school, but by studying hard, in the era of CNC boring machine is not yet popular, he has been able to process high-precision products with ordinary boring machines, and hand-grinding tools can replace high-value imported non-standard tools.

"My life is very simple, two points one line, except at home is in the company." Fu Guotao said with a smile. He immersed himself in research and gradually grew into the technical backbone of the factory.

In 2003, the factory introduced an imported horizontal machining center worth tens of millions of yuan, using all English operating procedures, equipment acceptance and debugging is a big challenge. When we are at a loss, Fu Guotao, who just entered the processing center, volunteered.

Years of machining experience let Fu Guotao in life to develop the habit of "millimeter" measurement, "a positive or negative error in the program, it may cause major quality accidents, and the processing of a process to enter thousands of program instructions, no error." Fu Guotao said.

Through continuous learning, Fu Guotao gradually mastered the English version of the milling cycle program, which broke through the multi-end, multi-size and multi-thread hole processing that could not be completed by the ordinary program, and greatly improved the work efficiency.

For many years, Fu Guotao has cracked many technical problems, broken a number of processing "bottlenecks", improved more than 10 kinds of tools such as drill, turning tool and tap, and realized the localization of key components of key projects. The tool processing method figured out by Fu Guotao can make the rough milling cutter completely replace the fine milling cutter, and achieve zero cost of fine milling, which saves more than 60% of the tool cost for the company in this processing.
